Rewards with one key

Most game AI needs a powerful graphics card and gigabytes of software. PlayHQ shrinks what it sees to a 32×32 picture and thinks with a tiny network written from scratch, so your game keeps nearly all the power.

Train each skill separately.
FPS / Shooter
Move, strafe, look around, shoot and jump. Best started in practice maps or against bots.
Driving / Racing
Accelerate, brake and steer. The easiest genre to start with: it learns to stay on the road quickly.
Platformer
Run and jump left or right. Great for side-scrollers and simple arcade games.
Drawing
Moves the pen in eight directions with the pen up or down. Teach it your strokes in any paint app.
Your own
Add a genre by listing its moves in one settings file. Each new genre gets its own brain.

Is it really free?
Yes. Create an account, try the phone demo and download PlayHQ at no cost.
Will it slow my games down?
Barely. Each decision takes about a tenth of a millisecond and it makes around 12 per second, so it uses a small slice of one processor core.
Can I use it on my phone?
The demo runs on your phone after you sign up. Training real games needs a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, because phones don't let apps press keys in other apps.
How good will it get?
It depends on how much you teach it. It picks up habits quickly from your play, and steadily improves at simple goals like staying on track or dodging. It won't beat pro players.
Is it safe to let it control my keyboard and mouse?
It only acts while you've pressed Start, only uses the moves listed for that genre, and F12 stops it instantly. Use it in a game window, not while other apps are open.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. Your recordings and trained brains stay in a folder on your PC. Your PlayHQ account only holds your email, your name and your dashboard progress.
What do I need to install?
Python 3.9 or newer. On Windows, PlayHQ's start file installs the rest the first time you open it.
